Tuberculosis is one of the three primary diseases of poverty alongside AIDS and Malaria.

It is a common and deadly infectious disease which affects the lungs, it is lethal, but with intervention it can be treated.

We have registered 12,100 patients (children) at NICH. 10,550 Patients have been treated successfully and remaining is under treatment 1500.

Expenses for their medication and diagnosis, borne by Sada Welfare Foundation, are approximately per child per month Rs.1500/=.

The duration of treatment is 9 months to one year. Currently SADA holds OPD daily.
